Whats the best stand for the dark horse spool swingarm sliders?

Or what is everyone using for a rear stand?

Thanks

Pit Bull!
I would still use the regular "wide" version and lift the bike on the swingarm instead of on the sliders.
That way you can still remove the rear wheel.
I have them for 116.10

I have the pit bull stands. They are very easy to use. I have a low XB12S and in order to lift up the front, the fender must be removed as there is not enough clearance to get the pin in the bottom of the triple tree. No big deal though...

Bought em from Daves... Can't beat it!!!

Hay Daves - I have both an '04 XB12R and an '05 Yamaha R1 do you know if the Pitbull stands ( both front and back ) will work on both bikes? Just wondering. I want get a pair of stands, but do not want to have to order two sets.

Yes they will, we will just need to get you the correct front pin for the R1. The extra pin is only 7-10.00.

So how do they work? Do they just have a pad that rests under the swingarm? Are they more sturdier than the stands for spools?

The stands come with adaptors. I dipped mine in liquid rubber to prevent scratches. All the Cycle Cat stuff is top shelf. They will soon have Buell components available.
