when I bought my bike the owners manual had a card attached that had to be mailed to Buell for warranty. Was I suppsoed to get a warranty card back? Or does the servicing dealer know that the bikes are under warranty by checking the VIN? ps. bike is fine just wondering |

1nut, I was told they use the VIN for warranty info. Steve |

You don't have to have the card, they check everything from the VIN. The card is just to make you feel nice and special. |

You should have a card for the original warranty and a separate one for the extended warranty (if purchased). You can contact your original selling dealer for both. Took 'em less than 5 minutes to scribble out a card to replace my misplaced Extended Warranty card. To my knowledge, your VIN will not pull up any info on an extended warranty. |

When I enquired as to why mine was 12 months overdue I got a response saying they don't do that no more. I was told servicing dealers would know everything about the bike from the VIN as well. |
