I ordered the shorter and flatter Crossroads bars and was wondering if anyone cut the bars down to make them shorter. I was also wondering if this would help out the cable length problem that everyone seems to have with the throttle. Also if you did cut the bars down, how much did you take off without it becoming a problem? Thanks for your help.

American Sport Bike has an option you may want to consider. Al has shortened the bars and flattened them out a bit more.

Lee,

I have the standard Crossroads on my XB9S. The cable length is not the problem, it is the routing that puts a bind on it.

Lee

I heard if you use duct tape to hold them on there are't any mounting issues. Hurry up & get them on so I can decide if I'm gonna order them!

I took half an inch off each side of the stock Crossroads bars, but that was for a personal preference of having my hands in tight to the bike.
