I recently bought a 2004xb12r and wanted to change the stock muffler out with something of some more performance. Since the bike was purchased in mar05' and it's brand new with the 2 yr warranty, the dealer told me if I stick with a buell product and have it installed by the dealer it would not void that warranty(i.e. buell race kit). I also purchased the rubber footpegs, frame pucks, and airbox mask. I got these all at a 20% disc. off of the retail rate. ANY INFO. WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

before i put my first mile on my xb12r, i had the dealer install the full racekit...(also told me they would honor the 2 year warranty with it on)...i now have 7k, no real problems, sounds nice, loud enough to hear me from closed window cages, not annoyingly loud...im very happy with it...

20% discount is a good deal. I only got a 10% discount and installed myself. (that doesn't void your warranty btw)
