They were giving them out at March Badness at T.W.O. This bag is very nice. It has a wide, comfortable shoulder strap and a waist strap to keep it from flopping around. Has a bunch of compartments, pockets, clips, etc. for storing stuff. Only complaint I've heard yet is one BadWebber noted the strap won't support a huge amount of weight.

I'm very happy with mine.

I had one from the promotion last year and I like the new one much better.
The belt strap prevents it from sliding to the side like the old one and the way it's designed with all the zippered pockets inside is AWESOME.
All you have to do is unlatch the belt strap and swing it around to get into it.

I had one of last years sling bag and man loved it. Only problem is it is big enough to hold alot of stuff, so I over packed it on the whieght and it started to come apart at the seems. I'm going to try to get another one from my dealer. Wish me luck!

Well I work at a dealership and lucky enough to get one. I love it, I purchased a buell bag about 6 months ago paid about 100 bucks and love and use my free one alot more. If you get a chance to get one I would recommend it. I use mine for everything.

Got my sling today. Nice bag, seems tougher then the first one. I tested a 9S and a Blast. Really liked the 9S, and the Blast lived up to it's name, it was a really fun little bike.

One of the dealers I frequent, (where I got my Buell), said he would just give me one, but I still wanted to test ride.

Got One Yesterday! Missed out last go round, so I made sure I got my paws on one this time. Seems to be really nice... And the price was right!

Yeah I got mine too, love it. Great Quality for free stuff! Not like that cheap marlboro crap. I was also on the Ride on April 17 at Liberty Harley, thought it was way cool that e. Buell himself was there, seems like a down to earth kinda fella. My first post ever here, nice to meet you all.

I got mine the other day from an Orlando dealer (I can't remember the name, it's in Maitland). Cool dealership, a couple of cool salesmen who are Buell oriented, ask for 'JR'. There was one jerky guy who didn't know anything about Buells, and didn't seem to care thought.

I wanted to take a second ride on the XB12S to see how the bike compares to my 2003 R1. I know they are totally different bikes... I was just trying to see if I would have any problems hanging with my buddies on Sunday (curvy road) rides with this bike. I don't think that it will be a problem! Also, I wanted to check the amount of wind protection, it's really not as bad as it seems that it would be. It's about the same as the R1. I may be selling the R1 to get a 2005 xb12s soon. I don't necessarily think that the XB is better a better bike than my trusty R1. I just think that is is equal, yet different, and it seems to fit my personality better. I don't need the 'six million miles per hour' top end of the R1, but I still want to SMOKE the curves, and I want a nice looking, muscular bike.

My ONLY reservation about the bike is that very few people around here appreciate them. Harley owners hate them (good!) and they think they are ugly, sport bikers think they are slow and that the engine is an old 1940's relic. What gives?

By the way, the giveaway bag is really nice! A ton nicer than the GAP 'bike messenger bag' that I had been using. This one stays where you want it while riding aggressively. Later. -Todd

we had the factory demo truck at our store last weekend, did 120 rides and gave out dozens of the bags. if you get the chance, go to a 'demo-day' at a dealership. you can ride all the bikes more than once to get a real feel for each.

Did the sales guy run a credit check before you were able to do the test ride?

did 120 rides...
We did 400 or so at March Badness II!
We had about 100 cases of bags, a bunch of the American Muscle t-shirts, and a few Buell knee pucks.
All we had left were some sling bags, still have some if you're near Stone Mountain HD & Buell, come by and test ride a bike and pick one up.
No credit check for a test ride.

Picked up mine yesterday at Chandler Buell. The folks there were great, John was my sales consultant. I had a great time on their CityX. I liked the way it sounds compared to my 12R but the power was down a bit.

Caution on the sling bag. If you let your girlfriend hold it while you dork around with something else, she may be tempted to hang it off the right side handle bar against the hot pipes and well....Y'all know the rest. The sling bag will melt...Like butter down a prom girls, uh, nevermind.

Hm, over here on the East Coast I've not met to many who didn't like it. Seems to be equal between the crowds. I've met many who like it though. The HOG group sure seems to. My sport bike riding group is curious about it. Got a few jackass comments about it until we hit the corners. They got really quiet after that.
