I'm getting ready to put on my new DRUMMER, my current mods are
2004 XB12R
DeSnorkle
NGK Iridium plugs
Cut airbox
TFI
Stock ECM
K&N filter

I'm planning on getting it dynoed but wanted a baseline to start with. I'm running a D&D right now and I heard that the DRUMMER needs more fuel, but everyone seems to be running race ECM's
and mines stock.

Did you get the loud Drummer or the muscle Drummer.

If you got the loud.
4,7,6,8.25

If you got the muscle.
4,5,4,8.25

This is only my opinion learned
from doing testing for kevin.
And I'm guessing, because I have a race ecm

And only a starting place.

You can call me when your on the dyno, or
if you need any help. 919 413 8290

I can tell ya how to tweak it in pretty
quick on the dyno.

Called the muscle Drummer, because it sounds
like the old muscle cars.

So your saying that I should start with these settings with the stock ECM. I bought the loud version.

4,7,6,8.25

Yeap
The loud Drummer takes a lot of gas.
Ride a give ecm time to learn.

Oh yeah, when you get it set up right.
She will stand up like crazy in first
even sometimes at less than half throttle.

Keep the rubber side down!

XB9, Stock ECM and Force pipe
3,5,3,7:30

these settings work really, almost no hesitation in the lower revs, none at all >3500.

It lays off at around 4500 to 4800 and I only rode it last night for about 20 minutes and there is black carbon on the end of the fatlet.

I don't know what do you think hogs?

I`m not real sure pal, But I wd. not put too much faith on just the black on the fatlet...Just thought you might have had a handle on it yourself hard to tell on the injected models without some means or another...But since you are with the TFI it may be your setting

I'm going to get it dynoed as soon as possible to get the A/F dialed in.

Your going to see some black on the fatlet
when it's set up right.

Ride some, shut it off ride some more.
You'll find the more you ride the stronger
it will run.
Dobeck now says to set 4th pot on the Buells
at at least 8.

Don't worry so much about adjusting, just ride.
After about 30 miles or so, you should know
if the bike is having a problem. Then address
that problem, keep a log of all your changes.
And make small adjustments, one pot at a time.

lol

I like a sound clip of the new loud and muscle drummer. I have the original drummer on my bike.

Sounds better than my D&D. Quieter at idle and when cruising at around 3000 rpm, but when you get on it sounds bad . Like I said earlier only 20 minutes of ride time last night, I will change that after work today.

Call me if I can help in any way.

You get the right side or left?

Left points at the ground when it's on the side stand.
Right points up and sounds louder at idle.

I bought the left side outlet for the sole reason that when I ride with someone else I always ride on the left, that way I don't slam there ears out

From testing for Kevin, I'd say you can
gain a good amount of more power with the
loud.

$150.00 will get your pipe updated.
You will really be pleased.

I might have to do that. Send it back and get a update. Besides the dealer poked a hole in the pipe and I like to get that welded back up. What's the deal with the new 12 pipe?

Kevin says it has more volume, which is needed
for the bigger displacement of the 12.

He put the same set up on Tilley’s race bike.
Which is a bored out nine.

So does the new 12 come in a loud version? I'm trying to figure out how loud is loud. I don't want to blast the neighbors out of bed.

The normal turn around is about one week

The new 12 DRUMMER loud version is not loud as hell idling or cruising around town, but get on it and it barks.

Runs real good

Compaired to the D&D pulls hard from the bottom of the rpm range instead of hitting real hard at 4000 like the D&D does. Drops off before 5200.
I'm getting it dynoed may 4 to get the A/F set

If it feels like it's dropping off @5200
I think she needs more fuel.
Is your third set on 6?

My Bike pulls to red line.
