Has anyone gone to the trouble to keep their complete stock XB12S exhaust system to put back on the bike in case of a warranty claim ?

Is it worth the hassle, or should a guy just go for a better sounding exhaust and not worry about a possible warranty problem ?

I'd appreciate your input, thanks,

Emery

JAn_lee ,

Did you not know that you have to re-weld up all the brackets on the force Gen.1 pipe system before you use it??? How many miles on it??

I don't think that Force is selling those yet - they're still in R&D - but the new design is to deal with the same problem we found (and why we have to reinforce them).

Jan_lee - I have a force can by itself that I need to get rid of - it's the ceramic coated black, but the price is right if you're interested...

JAn_lee, and Cruisin what other mods are you using with the force pipe with regards to fuel Etc. I think one fella allready got a new force pipe Misao or I forget the spelling of his nick , is the one with the springs on it just like the snow mobile units, :-) How were your guys force pipes working as far as being either lean or Rich???

Misato has one - so does M1Combat...most run a TFI, and depending on your bike, altitude, etc, you should be able to tune it to help out. Force has chance the design to the newer one you see linked to in Jan_lee's post to deal with the excessive vibration.

I haven't had a chance to tune mine in...and it's too loud for me to keep...so I won't be able to have a good report for you...
