Any PCII or PCIII for a 2000 and up X1 or S3 will work just fine.

The only diff between the X1 and S3 PC is the map that is loaded into the unit.

If you go to Powercommanders website it will tell you part numbers.

So far I've got a couple hundred miles on it, but I feel it's gonna be ok.

FWIW, I installed the stock ECM, and I have to tell you, it runs even better. I dunno why, but it's smoother all throughout the powerband, compared to augmenting the Race ECM.

I'm a happy camper.

Soon I'll get it on the dyno after I get it to where I feel it's close. Hopefully to minimize tuning time.

I `m just wondering if this one would work thats all, Hmmm thats interesting about the stock ecm working better...? Must be cause of less fuel or could be I guess on the timing curve as well...

hogs you asked about that pipe with the springs on ebay. i did that to mine a two point first where the front tube bends down and second at the union of the header and the can. i just welded a sleeve over top of the pipe unfourtunately this is the only pic i have from right after wrapping it. works well for me.

Yeah I guess those springs wd. work, I see you don`t use the lower fairings at all, I wonder if using the lwl. fairings help to break the mounts as well???

I've fixed mine.

I'll post pics ASAP. I'm reasonably certain it will last.

On the left side, there is the chin spoiler bracket and the strap mount. I welded a piece of mild steel between the two. This will keep that side of the front mount from vibrating so badly.

I also boxed the font mount with another piece to stiffen the entire structure. The piece is welded to the back of the oval "super-structure" of the front mount.

I also gusseted the triangle with another triangle welded right next to it. The new triangle is taller than the old, and moves the stressed point from where it is weakest (right at the narrow spot between the pipe and the extra hole) to the top.

I also welded another gusset under the front spoiler mount.

So far it's holding (longer than the original so far, which only lasted a little less than a week).

As soon as I can beg/borrow/steal a digital cam, I'll take some pics.

I've been running it w/o the chin spoiler (because the chin spoiler actually damps the vibration, it breaks quicker w/o it) for almost a week now and no sign of breakage at all.
