How many miles have some of you gotten out of the old bearings (not the orange replacements). I've read that the bearing life on the old ones was revised to 6,000 miles. I've got 7,000 on mine right now. I plan to get them changed, but I want to have my swing arm swapped out, razor rotor and carbon hugger added and most specifically, have the rims powder coated, which will result in me spending more money than I have right now. I don't want to have to pull the new bearings out after 500-1000 miles in order to have the rims powder coated and since the rims are off, I might as well do everything at once. I could wait to do some stuff until the next tire change, but I just put new tires on it and don't want to have to wait 7000+ miles. |

Last I had heard was they were supposed to last about 1500 to 3000 miles, and that when they go they go hard. I would think about having them changed. |

I had mine on until 5700mi, then I got them replaced. They stemmed fine at that point. I was hesitant to ride it too much, now I'm a tad fearful about the belt breaking. |
