i was thinking about taking off my jardine and putting on a d&d myself. I still have all the old parts from the stock muffler when i had the jardine put on. You guys think i will have any problems putting the d&d on?

I just got mine from Dave, and It's a nice piece!! I'm in the middle of doing a bunch of stuff to my bike, so I hope it'll be up and running soon!

You will have to remove the oil lines for the swingarm since you will have to install the brackets that had to be removed for the Jardine install. Other than that, it should be easy enough.

thanks for the advice guys, another quick question. today i realized that the chin fairing bracket on the right side of the bike is mounted to the bolts on the idlerpully, is this going to be easy to take off or should i have the dealer do it?

Markie all you have to do to put the right side bracket on is loosen the bolts on the pulley, take them off including the washers then slip the bracket on and replace the bolts and washers. You don't have to take the pulley off just the bolts. Real easy to do, don't worry, the left side bracket is much more difficult, it goes under the kickstand and those bolts are about a mile long, and locktighted, but its also easy just tiring on the arms.
