Got new xb12s coming.Like to hear everyones take on a few things.Exhaust, not thrilled with sound of stock pipe. How bought the interactive valve is this worth keeping? Is the race kit worth the $ or should i shop aftermarket? Have seen no dynos on stock versus factory race kit.How much gain? Would like keep warranty from Buell good, what aftermarket items can i use without causing problem with that. Also on the frame pucks are their more than on kind.
Thank You All in Advance!!

Get the Buell frame pucks. I've watched them work, They see to do a good job.

For a pipe... A lot of people like the Jardine. It sounds good, gives very good top end power at the cost of the low end grunt. The Drummer and the D&D seem to give the broadest power gains (but not a LOT anywhere). If you want to keep the exhaust valve (like me) you may want to poke around and ask a few members where to go.

Most people yank the snorkel in the airbox (NOT the Velocity stack, The snorkel that runs through the frame).

Get a TFI.

Get Metzeler Sportec M1 or Pirelli Diablo tires as your next set of tires. If you can afford to, replace the tires before the stockers even wear out. They are that much better.

Make sure you set the suspension for your weight. I personally like to crank the rear preload up a notch or two, but I'm a little heavy at 220# wet... I'm not recomending that YOU do that though, that's just what I do.
