Well Got everything back together and this time snorkel out.Today was the first time I've ridden it since it has not had any mods.Ran kinda crappy first five minutes,Backfiring, missing, just poor. After that it seemed to fix itself.a few things I do notice 1.Sounds 10 times better than stock. 2.Very,very easy wheelies now.First and second gear roll ons.I could never even get a first gear roll on before without opening and closing throttle several times.3.Seems to rev a little quicker.I cannot be happier with Jardine and K+ N and remove that snorkel.Never thought it would be noticable in power difference, but it sure is for the better.Seems to have lots more ummph right where I like to ride 3500-5500.

That sounds like a nice combo for power. Do you plan on putting it on the dyno any time soon?

Does anyone have any opinions on how the FAST system will do with the Jardin & Techlusion? Will I get the same relative "bang for my buck" when compared to the Jardin/K&N/Removed Snorkel combo?

Thanks in advance.

Is the sound of the Jardine very raspy or does it have a more smooth sound to it?

IMO,I would have to say the jardine is a low rumble and smooth at normal riding speeds,BUT,when you get into it,I think it sounds like a whole different pipe.At higher rpms,I suppose raspy would be a good term. But, a good raspy.Next on list will be techlusion. Can't wait. For those of you with the techlusion,Do you have to be a rocket scientist to install and to make it perform like its supposed to?

Ted, make sure you turn the volume UP! I think Capt's clip was the first one I heard. It was about a month later and I heard one live. Very tasty! It took a while but then I eventually got mine. The first time I started it, I giggled like a little kid with a new toy! I had forgot how good they sound.

I have the same set up on my 9...Jardine, K&N, de-snorkeled, and 12 airbox. Can I piggy back the Techlusion into the stock ECM or does it need to go with the race ECM?

I havn't figured out how to post a link yet, but hillbilly-motors.com had posted dyno runs of F.A.S.T. system with different combinations of exhaust on a XB9. The Jardine + F.A.S.T. pulled 94.7 PS engine (can't tell you what exactly PS is but it is close to horsepower). There was a link somewhere in the archives and a thread that went over PS to Hp conversion and all that, wish I could find it. Anyway, the Jardine with the F.A.S.T. got the highest horsepower gain of all those tested. I don't know how they tuned it, but I would think the techlusion box would only be an improvement. I know someone will remember that particular thread and post it.

There was a comparo on three different intake mods, the fast came up tops.

The TFi is plug and play. It's designed for the stock ECM. It's easy to use and comes with enough instruction to get you sorted, it also comes with a base setting you can dial in to get you on the road till you can get someone to tune it for you.
