got an email from force after sending 2, and 3 months late. At least he replied this time. It was civil and all but GD'it. I have to PAY cost on the new pipe if I want one. 6 months with no bike, no contact, several emails from me- finally sent me what they said was a 'temp fix' pipe with nicks and a small dent in it and I put it on (same gen I style).

so basically I'll have spent 1900 total to get the new pipe. it hasn't failed yet so that was his reason.

nallin was going to give me a deal on some headwork for the f'up. aaron was very kind about it all, I know he didn't have to offer anything but I must have pissed them off to. justin was going to give me quote and that was months ago. even after aaron emailed me and said to call justin which I did, then still nothing.

thats what happened so make your own decision. I guess there is always that 3% sometimes good, sometimes bad

I would not trust them with my bike, tearing into the motor. What ever goes around comes around. so people will see how they treat their customers, and just not deal with them.
Have you actually spoke directly with the owner.

It's a very long and drawn out story...

Do you remember the name of the thread Misato?

My Dealings With Force

I sent 2 Force systems back to Force and received
2 new updated systems. (with springs and jet hot coated)

I paid shipping both ways.

They told me up front that the wait would be long.

It took some time to get, but they were always honest and professional with me.

I gotta say I was very thankful they covered those pipes. $$$$$

Did anyone else receive new pipes or was my case a isolated incident?

Sam

"and thats the first thing I thought was 'you sell it on ebay' ••••"

You lost me.
Do you mean you want to sell the gen 1 on e-bay?

I kept one and sold the other.

I remember many of your previous posts so let me explain how my transaction went down and we can compare notes.

I called Justin to discuss my concerns about the cracking after only a few hundred miles. He stated there wasn't that many pipes out there and he assured me the pipes would be repaired or replaced. I believed him because I have no reason not to.
I called Georgeanne (I hope I spelled this right)
and basically had the the same discussion I had with Justin. She never hesitated to tell me that they had no idea when the new pipes would be ready. She did say they would not be released until they were satisfied with the finished product. I put some used head pipes and mufflers on the bikes and road them.(track days planned)

Sure enough two gen 2 systems showed up at work one day.

I called Force to thank them for replacing the systems.

Bottom line in my case only:
I had 2 cracked systems that I needed replaced.
He was willing to replace them given enough time to make the corrections.
I was totally o.k. with that and glad that a "patch" was not the correction.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Sam
