While helping a friend check his plugs a few weeks ago on his 12R I discovered that his idle adjustment cable was wearing on the coil bracket bolt head and was wore thru to the metal sleeve. I fixed it by cutting the zip-tie that secures the adjustment allen head and slipped some small wireloom over the cable and re-installed. I was putting some Pro-series plugs in mine and it was doing the same thing. I did the same thing to mine and here's a few pic's to help out.......Odie |

Thanks a whole bunch Odie... I'll go take a look right now . As a matter of fact... Thanks again... I'm waiting to get my new rear tire (Puncture via screw) so I think I'll go do the full on air box mod too while I wait. I'll see if I can come up with any more while I'm out there... |

Not a problem. I would venture to say that just about everybody on the BWeb has this problem. You're gonna love the airbox mod!!!! Later....Odie |

Well, I have a bunch of holes in it, and I love it, but I want to go clean it up and re-route the breather hoses. I took it apart... then realized I need to go get a few cutting wheels for the Dremmel. I'm thinking about getting a little crazy with the airbox base. I'll need to pick up some heat matting somewhere as well. |

Oh yeah... I checked the idle cable and it seems fine. 9700 miles so far. |
