Has any one got performance info on running the race ECM and KN filter with the stock can...i tried the race can , and prefer the sound of the stock pipe...????

Then I'd suggest that you run the stock setup but just run the K&N.And maybe the 12 airbox lid.

I'm running the Race ECM, K&N and 12 airbox with a stock pipe on my '03 XB9R. It runs incredibly good. I won't have dyno figures until March when I go to Daytona for Bike Week. I'm guessing 83-84hp based on posts this week from several bikes on the dyno drags. I'm waiting on a Jardine to come in. I need noise.

thank you both.... that might give me a direction to head...i would like more power,,, but have burned out on the noise...at work i get to hear 56000 lbs of thrust ..so at home, quiet is good..............dave

There are performance pipes that are more quiet.
Wileyco makes a fully street legal pipe that is supposed to give four or five HP, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks again for the reply....how would you rate the drummer and wileyco , noise and tone wise to the race exhaust sold by Buell..The local dealer almost made me give blood before letting me return the race kit so i am gathering more info this time around.......dave
