I was wondering, with the Drummer muffler. Do we keep the butterfly valve that the stock muffler uses or does the Drummer do away with that?

The Drummer boys do away with that valve there Cataract2 when they turn your pipe into the " DRUMMER"

With regards to the cable going to the valve you can just unhook it from the motor under your tank/cover, and if you are running a "race ecm" you can disconnect the wires to it as well but ONLY if you run the race ecm... other wise a check engine light will come on with the stock ecm..
