Its coming, its coming. Christ only had the poor thing a week. Kinda hard to take a sawzall to a new bike. Fabbing up a license plate bracket at work, took measurements off one from Graves motorsports...super easy to make.

dyna's developing a chicken strip! just kidding man...got my r1 titled and plated yesterday and wow, it's uber fast and dare i say handles just as well as my 9r. the wheelbase is only 3" longer and the seat hight is about 3" lower as well.

I did a little burnout earlier. Have taken it real easy on the corners & such until I get the feel for the bike. Damn chickenstrips are down to about 3/8ths". They will be gone very very soon.

And Uber fast? That doesnt even begin to sum it up

I agree on the handling, folks should ride a bike before they judge it based purely on press releases. The XB's handle great, but I dare say the R1 is just as good.

Ortega...I wouldnt say the XB is more fun cause its so different. Maybe a different type of thrill or fun, but certainly not more fun. Personally I am a bike , would like one of every damn bike made. To limit yourself to one model or brand & proclaiming it as the most fun is a bit narrow minded.

Dyna thats not narrow minded.I've had plenty of different bikes,GSXR 750,V-Max.FZR-1000,all were great bikes but not more fun then my BUELLS.Its just a opinion.

R1, maybe I mispoke,I do not believe the xb9r I own, to be the end all,or do all,or most fun of all bikes, and EVERY bike,(well almost),can be fun.Pridmore's r6 I rode recently was amazing and probably faster than the xb,at my age I guess I just enjoy the buell so much I'm prejudiced!

Blake, on a small track like OHR I would scare myself silly with the R1. That track is much better suited for a bike such as the X1 or M2. In the right hands my bike would probably do ok there, but god knows I have a long way to go to use even 1/2 of this bikes abilities.
