with regards to that last thread, the correct NGK iridium plug according to NGK for the XB engines is the KR8AI #5477. The other plugs mentioned are cross referenced for some of the tubers and not the XB's.

I am using the NGK Iridium plugs KR8AI / #5477.
The NGK website has a parts finder that lets you look up recommended plugs, if you want to look for the non-iridium kind.
