So I never got a solid response from the last time, so as they say try try try again.

Anyone have personal experience or concrete knowledge of what available options there are paints-wise that will work on the Surlyn bodywork? I know from Dupont's web site that their Chroma system should work, but I want to know what other options are available to me before I start moving in any particular direction.

Thanks!

Any sort of automotive paint from the carrepairsystems will do,they've a primer for a good adhesion for the paint onto the plastics.

Got two options now, Thanks Trev. Did you have to use any special adhesive agent from house of kolor, or just the part a/b primer mix?

Misato, you're planning on going with the Dupont Chroma System right? How soon are you planning on doing that?

yeah, chromabase.. not sure when but at least within the next month or 2.
duponts site said to use red scotch brite, but I had already started sanding with 600 wet. I'll go over it with some finer stuff then prime and paint.
