So I feel like it should work but I was wondering if anyone has done it. I'm considering putting a uly subframe/rear set on my lightning. Will it work?

It can be done, but the subframe doesn't bolt right on, you will need to fabricate adapters.

The rear sets will be easier, they bolt right on but it still requires a longer brake line, and you will need the bracket and shifter parts from a Ulysses. Also, you will have a Harley like lean angle because of how low and wide the pegs are.

The early xb (R/S)frames are 15mm (total) smaller than the SS/STT on the frame where the siderails bolts to.
