Hadn't heard about this thing but may have found one. Really don't like my standard 09 Ss seat, too soft and gets some bad pressure points after a long ride. Would love to hear more opinions on the seat. The guy wants a good amount of coin for it, much more than anything but the Corbin/Baldwins. Thought about Urban Assault but seems a bit narrow. Sport seat sounds like a good option. Main concerns are distance riding comfort, aggressive riding usability (assuming thats good considering its a "sport" seat) and most importantly ride height. I can't go any lower than stock as I have raised pegs and need the legroom. Don't want to go MUCH higher either but I am tall enough to make it work. | ||

The Buell Select/Pro Series seats have always been a nice aftermarket option. Seems like the Sport Seat was another Buell accessory option if I remember right. I really dig the Urban Assault seat that came on my STT, it is slightly softer than the SS seat I have for two up riding, or maybe it's just that the shape makes it a little more compliant. It's my preference for general riding and the moderate distance rides I've done. | ||

I had one, loved it over the stocker. The sport seat will sit you up a bit higher, this I liked. You can also slide around on it a lot easier than the stocker too. The best seat for the SS if you ask me. | ||

Fantastic, I am not a super long distance rider but the stocker is just too soft and causes some pressure points that add up to soreness after a hundred miles or so. I was looking into some custom saddles but really like the sound of this unit. Hoping its not TOO much taller than the stocker, but I can definitely use a bit more height while riding as I have adjustable (raised) pegs for track riding and tend to be a little cramped at the moment. Also am really happy with the styling of the one in particular that I am looking at, has a carbon print stripe down the center. Bit pricey but I think I'll be happy with it. | ||

That's the thing about it. I have one in orange, that I had on the bike. I took it off yesterday, and put the touring saddle on. I like the touring saddle better, because it let's me sit lower into the bike, and puts mu upper body in the correct position. With the sport seat, it put me up higher, and closer to the tank. Good for the legs, not so much for the arms, but I am tall. The touring saddle for me is a much better option. I am going to have to sell my bike, in the not too distant future. I don't want to, but finances are forcing me to. I don't know if the buyer is going to want mine, but if he doesn't, and you have an orange bike, we might be able to work something out. | ||

Thanks but I already sourced one of the sport seats with a pattern that is exactly what I was wanting from an aftermarket. I'll survive with the hands, I change bars all the time and can find something that will work. I am more concerned about how it is on the @$$ but anything should be better than the stocker.... ouch. | ||

True that. It's comfy in the showroom, and that's about it. Glues you to the bike, that stocker. |
