Is it normal to wear out the front tire before the back? I have been riding a lot of back roads with this set. They are BT016's tire press run at Front 35PSI Rear PSI 37PSI. The wear is occurring in the middle of the profile. |

I have an XB12Ss and my front tires wear the same way. Usually not before the back, but by the time the back is wore smooth, the front is to the wear bars in the middle of the profile. Definitely not the 2 back to 1 front I used to get with my Honda. I had that with my factory tire, and with the BT021 I have on it now. I haven't messed with my suspension settings yet, I thought maybe that would help? Hopefully someone else can chime in. |

Typically you will wear out the rear first, but I've had it happen before where I've killed the front before the rear, even with my usual 50+ psi. |

I get about 200 miles out of my rear and about 800-1000 miles on my front. My grandfather gets 4000 miles on both front and rear.. Really depends on your riding style and suspension settings. Unless your racing I highly recommend factory spec air pressure.. |

... 200 miles out of your rear? I assume race tires... at least, I hope. I typically wear both of mine out at the same rate, but I mostly commute. |

I can get 10,500 out of the Stradas. But at about 8,000 miles they start not wanting to turn and I have to start pushing harder on the bars. So, now I change them before 8,500. I change them as a set. |
