Hm... Well, with Buell being shut down and all, I don't think it's worth much. I'd say... oh, maybe $500? But, you're in luck! I'm willing to drive out there & pay you *CASH* for it at that price to get it off your hands. I'd say list it at $6000, and try to get $5500 out of it. |

My '06 Ss is for sale here, too. I really want it to go to someone who will enjoy it, since it is not getting ridden. It gives me dirty looks every time I go to the garage. It knows it is worth way more than I can actually get for it. |

I would take 5K for just the bike and $5500 with extra wheels, parts, jackets, helmets and chatter box (XBi2) Ill go ahead and put it in the classifieds. |

I honestly can't see it likely going for $5k+. KBB says retail (dealer) price on an excellent bike is $3610, so I'd say realistically $3k-3500 in private party. Hell I even got my 06 Lightning for $4k about 4 years ago. |

Honestly, I think you would be lucky if you got $4k. The value of the bike is only $3600. You may have a laundry list of bolt on mods but that doesn't add much value. You would probably get more money back from it in the long run if you put some of the stock parts back on and sell the aftermarket stuff on ebay. Why would someone pay $5000 or 5500 for an '04 when you can find a '09 1125 or similar for a little over $6k? |

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!I'd knock a hole in it and use it for a planter before id take $3600 LOL.. How about $4500.. I have 6k in it right now and haven't owned it but a couple of months. its super clean and everything on it is new. |

Where did the $6k go? Your best bet is to put it back to stock and sell the extra rims and helmets and stuff separate, you might be able to get $6k total then. |

I agree, she's a sweeet looking ride. I HATE that Buells are worth so little but the fact remains. Some around here go months before they sell and go from 6K to 4K before they do. Price it at 6K whats it going to hurt? its well worth it, just depends on how fast you need to sell it. I let a boat go for $1500 a few years back cause I needed the cash asap, I could have sat on it and got 4K. I'll keep my Buell till she falls apart cause no matter how nice she is, I'll NEVER get what I think she's worth, too many people letting them go for peanuts. Thats the problem in my opinion |

Nice ride! To bad you want to let her go. I just bought my '04 completely stock with 7700 miles for $4k. I think Froggy has the right idea. Return it to stock and ask 4k then sell all your other stuff on ebay or craigslist. you'll get more for each part individually than you will selling it all together. Of course if time is a factor than a package deal is the way to go. i would think that you could get 6k for everything all together. |

Unfortunately Illbuell, I've gotta agree with the 3.5k range folks. I bought my bone-stock 08' xb12r with 4,000 miles on it about 4 months ago for $4,850. With that kind of product out there, I can't se someone forking over more than 4k for something with 18k miles and 7 years on her.... |

In 2009, I sold my 05 XB9SX with 24,000 on the clock for $4,500. Good luck getting anything more than $4,000 or so. If it was my bike, I would put ask $4,250 and try to get $3,750 to $4,000 out of it. It also depends on how long you mind waiting for it to sell obviously. +1 on putting the bike back to stock and selling the aftermarket parts. I wasn't smart enough to do that with my XB, but I have kept all my stock parts for the current bike (1125R). |

The value VERY much depends on what market you are in. In Minneapolis, there are several listed for $5500-6000. The only thing we see under $4000 is a 2003 XB9, and there even some of those going for $5000. |

i bought a mint 03 XB9S with race kit, select seat, 04+ pulley upgrade, and sliders for $3500, it only had 3500 miles on it. It is all timing. If the guy that wants it bad enough has the cash when you post it, it will sell, if not, you will sit on it or drop the price till it sells. |
