My wife has been looking at Triumph's for a future bike that is her own. (She rides my XB9SX and likes it, but it's still mine...) Might show her this one.

Only thing she mentions is she's gotten very use to the handling of the XB and doesn't know if she would end up liking the loss of the handling of bikes like that one in the end.

This bike handles amazingly, not as razor sharp as an Xb, but handles very well! Let's put it this way, there is a certain back road I drive every day, there is a series of curves I use ad a benchmark for all my bikes, I had the same exit speed (60 mph) with the speedmaster as I did the lightning long

I had an 05 speedmaster , I didn't care for it at all, It was a good little machine but not my cup of tea. I had a 2000 thunderbird classic water cooled triple now that was a nice machine. I feel the Triumph I just am not much for forward mounted controls and such a long wheel base. I truly did the bike an injustice by buying it so this is not to dis the machine more my idiocy for making the purchase.

Brumbear, its all good, I love my XB, but sometimes I want to just cruise and I dig the forward controls just to change things up. I have learned there is no such thing as the perfect bike, thats why I have 3, the third one is a Fatbob

Cool bike, I am thinking about having a cruiser in addition to my 2 Buells. Possibly a 05-07 Vmax. Always wanted one.

Vmax = fun!
I used up my '96 when the front end washed out in a right turn. Instant motocrosser at 110mph.
I miss that bike.

Beautiful bike you got there. I have a 2009 Triumph Scrambler with Arrow Exhaust that I love. Enjoy that bike!

I've been debating between the Speedmaster and the America as a complement to my X1. Love them both. The workmanship specially the paint quality on those bikes is simply excellent.
Enjoy.
