heres a new one to add to the stable, 07 12scg

i say sorta because i bought it for my girlfriend. it has so far been a great chick bike. i say that like it sounds bad, which it does, but in a good way. its a very watered down version of my bike, which she likes but doesnt have the smooth characteristics to make it a good girl bike, which this xb does. also its 1" shorter, and not at all so torquey. she started on the blast -> honda nt650GT -> xb12scg. i think it has been a good and smart transition. maybe i can get her thinking about an 1125cr after i get mine this summer.

her old bikes

my bike:

can i get some suggestions on how to set up the suspension for 130lbs fully geared up? she never rides 2 up and theirs no back pegs anyways.

so far i have the front dapening/rebound cranked all the way out then in one full turn up top, and half a turn on the bottom, rear shock is cranked soft + 1 turn as well. for starters.

it was way stiff even myself riding it at 160lbs now it feels a little soft for me which should put it in the balkpark for her.

Please get rid of those mirrors. Great looking bike otherwise.
