the round gasket that goes inside is it supposed to be flush with the can or stick out a little? Sorry I don't know the name. But there are three, the big top one (chrome) the flat one on the outside and the one on the inside. The one on the inside is out maybe 1/4' so when I put the other two on top there is a little space. Is that correct? there is a little leak still from there so I want to see if that's my issue before I go any farther.
Thanks,
Thomas

There is only one header gasket. It's the metallic fiber gasket and must fit down to the stop. It's a tight fit into the exhaust port. Fit it into position by hand, don't rely on the exhaust header to "press" it down to the stop.

Don't recall seeing pics in the manual but there is an obvious seat for the "bottom" of the header gasket in the exhaust port.

I have found freezing the gaskets before installation helps... shrinkage and all...
