when i did mine, i traced the old decals that were on the bike before removing them, so i would know where to put the new ones (i replaced the orange ones with black ones) |

Terrys1980 is right man. Except he forgot to add "time'. Take your time. Tape down an edge, walk around it, sip a cold one, find the spot that works. |

I have an '07 Firebolt and I'd be glad to try and get some measurements for reference. Drop me a note if you want them. |

I know this thread is old news and he's probably already done this, but just for anyone's future reference I wanted to say be careful with the masking tape. When I replaced my stickers I outlined the old stickers in blue masking tape, and then just lined up the new ones with the tape. When I pulled the tape off it actually ripped little strips out of the top layer of plastic in the airbox. Not the worst thing in the world, but if I ever do it again I'll be sure to use electrical tape, or just stick the masking tape to the couch a few times or something to make it a little less sticky before it goes on the airbox. |
