I need some help here please... I am trying to find some adjustable rear sets as I need to move my knees back by about 1.5 inches, can anyone point me in the right direction. Also, I have an XB9S with a race kit fitted, I am contemplating dumpling in and swapping for a XB12S, but I haven't ridden a 12 and I'm not sure that the difference would be that noticeable... does anybody have any thoughts?

Although I just bought my Firebolt a couple of days ago, I cannot see why anyone would sell their 9, take a loss and then shell out some $4,000 for a little more hp. When many of the mods you can do to a 9 are in the $100/hp range, a 12 is not worth it; at least to myself, who has 3 young kids.

Rob,

I demo'd a XB12S and a race kitted XB9R last Saturday. SOTP comparison using short bursts(hitting 80 mph max.) points to the 12 being
noticeably quicker. Who knows about top speed
but for a street bike I care more about acceleration (say 0-100).

Just one guy's opinion.

My race XB9 has Woodcraft adjustable rearsets. Great quality, adjustment is about 1" over 360 degrees.

Can be seen at http://www.geocities.com/ramraceco/Mark.html

As for the difference between the XB9 and 12, see my track based observations in this forum.
