Hehe, I know!!

Thats what makes me who I am tho. If everyone was a carbon copy & walked around singing Barneys song..I love you, you love me....it would be 1 boring assed world.

Uh....that's not necessarily so. But, cognizant of the futility of arguing....ok.

Remember when common decency was?

Remember when common decency was?

Sure do, I also remember when a mans word was worth something. I also remember when dealers actually cared about the level of service the customer received. I also remember when if you bought something & it failed, the warranty would actually be honored instead of blaming the consumer for a service depts failings.

Dave's shop in Iowa is a great example of a dealer who is doing all the great things I remember. James had problems with his bike & sure it took a little while, but eventually Dave & company got him on the road. They didnt try to blame anyone but themselves for the little mishap. Thats a great example of a kickass dealer. Even if & when things go wrong they will do all they can to make it right & even apologize when they screw up. I wish all dealers were like that.

Certain dealers were like that in the past, but the pursuit of the almighty $$$$ has clouded their sense of common decency & respect for the customer. Hopefully they will eventually find their way back to where they once were, but if not then I hope business such as Waterloo grow & take all the business they can from these dealers.
