Hello.
I just bought a xb12S 07model. I am very happy but would like to make some minor changes to the bike (new tailpiece and get the light of both lamps in front)
Is there someone who can give me a good explanation of how I can get light in both headlights? And anyone who has any suggestions for nice tail pieces?

Regards Espen

Swap the white and yellow wires on the headlight harness behind the windscreen.

Link to that same tutorial, but on Badweb

You can also just rock the toggle switch in between high and low and both will be on.

As for tail lights, look no further than http://XBlights.com, they have the best tail lights you can get for the money.

You can also make your own!
make a model from a piece of cardboard and copy that on a 2mm thin plate of aluminum or steel!

americansportbike calls theirs a tag relocator but it is actually the chopped fender piece. He is wanting the whole thing not just a tag relocator. That is a great idea brothers in buell if he wants to chop his own part off.

Will the tail light to xblights could be mounted directly into the original tailpiece, so I can cut this right now and keep the turn signals and the original power supply? When it comes to mount the power to both headlights. When you swap the white and yellow wires on the head light harness behind the wind screen, comes the blue light that indicates that there is a beam of light all the time? Pardon my english .... hope you understand me.

-Brothers in buell: thanks for helping with a good idea. : )

Reitenaug, Your English is very good, better than many Americans. As far as the tail piece goes, if you can find a used one you can do it yourself, there's many here who have made how-tos on that. Also You can buy one from Odie at Sec-ops though I imagine shipping would be expensive. There are some Eropean companys that sell them. Maybe that would be cheaper, when you consider the shipping.

Welcome to Badweb our Norwegian (or is it Nordic?) Brother in Buell!

When you do the wire swap both lights will be on all the time. You will not be able to flash the high beam. I am not sure if you will need to have the hi beam switch on but if so the blue indicator light will come on. I ride a XBR not a XBS, I am just going off of info
I had previously read.
