"the new engine is conservatively rated at 103 hp. on our dynojet, xb12's are putting out 95 to 96 horsepower at the rear wheel"
..."it makes 63 ft lbs at 2000 rpm, 68 at 2500 and doesn't fall below 70 from 4000 to 6800"

CW's dyno has usually read a couple of horses less than Buell's. I would expect XB12s to make somewhere between 92 and 94 horses on CW's dyno, based on numbers from Buell, but we'll see when we get a test bike in (soon) to measure.

Thanx Steve, that was a nice article on the XB12. There was some good bits of info in there that hadn't been made public, and hey, I even liked Don-C's comments. It seems he was impressed, and when the moto-jounals realize how few motorcyclists even get near a race track perhaps they'll stop grading them by lap times.

I like John Burns' outlook on street motorcycles, as displayed in his review of the Suzuki BurgerMan scooter. Now that is a practical, good handling, fast-enough motorcycle. But am I man enough to be seen on it???
