I went with 8000k because I wanted a little blue tint, 6000k are actually the brightest and the whitest.

The lower the color temp, down to 4300, the more the light output, but there is little difference in 4300 to 8000. Above 8k, they do not put out as much light, I took off my screen, to show the balasts installed, my relay is in the back of the bike, the balast on the side is on with 3m outdoor double stick tape for over a year, the other one is in with tie wraps, tight, I had to rearange a bit, but it fits.

So I'm beyond confused with this head light. I want to be able to have both head lights on when the switch is in the low beam position. then when i flip to button to high i want both to work. Is this possible when switch the yellow and orange wires? Do i have to buy a low beam light for this to happen? Any clarification would be great

When you switch the wires around you only get both lights on at high bem. Low beam is still only one light. Not sure what you will need to get both high and low twin lights. Different lights, changing wiring at a minimum.

Our headlights are single filament on the Xb. so one is a high beam, one is low, there is no point to a switch if both are on all the time, do the mod, and just leave em on high beam, and both will be lit,
Clarification: each light has one filiament, the high beam light has only a different lens than the low beam light, .. dual filament lights have a high and low in each enclosure, but we dont have that setup, we have singles, (2 of them).
