I bought my Firebolt about 2 months ago but due to the pass conditions I couldn't ride it home yet. I could have trailered it home but what is the fun in that. So I have been waiting for the weather to improve and for the snow to stop falling on the pass. Plus I had to find a day that my wife could go with me. We are going to ride her Sportster over and get it serviced for it's 1,000 mile service. And then we are going to both ride home. I have made room for it in the garage and have a cover just waiting to throw over it.
I have been reading all the ideas and fun everyone else has been having and can't wait to have mine here so I can go out and sit on it or just look at it while I enjoy a good cigar.

Iman,
I have a 2010 RoadGlide sitting in the garage too. The cover is to help keep all the bikes clean. There are now 3 bikes in the garage.
I am installing a lift kit and setting up gears and a whole bunch of other stuff on a club members Jeep so when I am grinding I make sure all the bikes are covered first. If you have never seen the mess left behind after you grind metal it gets over everything and if your not careful will scratch your finish. Don't be worried I plan on putting a ton of miles on both my Buell and Harley this summer. My family is going to Calif on our bikes in June. My daughter rides with me on the RoadGlide and my wife rides a Sportster. My daughter just isn't big enough yet to ride on the Buell. Once she can put her arms all the way around me then she can. I am doing the NorthWest Sportbike Rally in July with the Buell so that will put a lot of miles on it. And during the week while my daughter is in school I can ride the Buell. Then this summer I will just have to find someone to watch her so I can go play now and then. So again no worries about the bike just sitting, it is going to get rode.

Well here is me and the new bike.

I have been riding it all day today and grinning from ear to ear. Even got to race a Mustang. HEHEHE

Here is my old Buell that I sold when my daughter got to riding age.

I bought it in May of 2005. It was my present to myself when I was able to walk again. I was shot in the leg in Iraq in 2004. I have been on the board since back then. I didn't stop around much while I didnt' have a Buell but now that I own another one I have been here everyday since I signed the papers.
I need to learn more about all the changes that have been made to the bikes since 2005. Also what I need to look out for on the newer models.
