Thanks for that....!

Thats cool ..Are ya 100 percent though sure that they are only 200 ?

Have you seen these,( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=180480038993&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT )

Thats why I was asking,Since these are AGM as well..and seem a good price for sure, But I sure hate getting aftermarket. batteries unless they are Tested on our xb`s?

As we all know the Stock HD batteries Rock..Its just the almost 200 BUCKS I have to pay for one here in my neck of the woods....

BTW...I don`t have a zip being from Canada to get their pricing.

The X2-14 is a USA made battery and I think they are the OEM supplier to HD. The XTAX14-BS is a Chinese made battery.

I have the X2-14 in my XB9R and it sure looks to be the exact replacement to the OEM unit save for the case color. I am on my second in 8 months as the first developed a bad cell and was replaced under warranty.

That battery on ebay would make sure I did not ride too far from home.

Be aware that not all after market batteries really fit the cables properly. I have some off brand in my bike and I had to put a lead spacer between the cable of the battery terminal to get it to clamp down properly. Just one more thing that I need to do in the future is replace the battery with one that has the correct terminals.

Just in case your local dealership is not Buell friendly, ask for a V-Rod battery. It's the same battery.

Pass on the first link posted up there for Batteries Plus. I bought that XTAX14-BS Xtreme Permaseal Battery and am none too pleased.

In nice weather it hesitates on the compression stroke. In 20 degree weather it wouldn't crank the motor. Brand new battery, fully charged, and always left on the Battery Tender.

If it doesn't do to well new, I hate to think how (not) long it's going to last.

Ourdee, it was 95.00. A bit more than what HD wanted at my local shop (I get 10% off) but at the time they just killed Buell and 4Cammer was in no mood to add any additional bar & shield crap on my 9R!

If this helps anyone I purchased a battery at Sears and it is working great, fit right in and was only about $80.
