Hey all, I ride an '07 XB12STT and on my way home from work tonight (in a light rain) on the freeway - doing about 70-75 mph - the power seemed to cut in half. I pulled over, idle was slightly lower than normal and seemed to be running a little rough. Throttle response went down the drain and she backfired at me a couple times after releasing the throttle with a slight rev. Nothing I could do there so I continued on (with a SEVERE lack of power, struggling to do 60) and about 20 miles later the fuel light came on (earlier than it should have, but I don't think it's related other than a symptom because the mileage went to crap) however shortly after power came back to full out of nowhere. Then about ten seconds later bogged out again. This happened a couple more times, I fueled up and made it home. Like I said, starts fine and idles, just NO power, and it is intermittent (more off than on). Any suggestions? Shane

Front plug lead can rub on frame and wear through the insulation. Could also be water hitting the front lead and causing a short |
