I know this is the wrong forum thread, but I was going for some quick answers. Any recommendations on some winter riding jackets? My perforated leather jacket isn't cutting it in the sub-50 temps. |

Wearing just a t-shirt under my vented leather jacket w/ vents closed and warm liner I am fine to 30 degrees at which point my cold legs in jeans become the problem. |

layers. consider keeping quality rain gear too,to keep the water/snow off. staying dry and keeping the wind off are primary goals.if you get wet you will be toast. wind guards on the hand grips and quality gear. |

Tourmaster Flex 2 jacket and Flex pants? Took mine for the first ride today and it seems to be decent except that the collar on the jacket is a little low which will lead to a cold neck below about 40 F. |

I do layer, but I can only fit a long sleeve shirt under my leather so it has its limitation. I was looking at Fieldsheer's Aviator Jacket. Its only $115 and it has CE pads and is "supposedly " warm. |

Aerostich if you have an extra seven or eight hundred. That's my future plan. I currently have a Moose Enduro jacket, ballistic with two removable inner zip-out liners. Works great and has lots of vents. A layer or two of Underarmour and it's great. |

Yep layer up. I wear a Aerostitch 1 piece, and in the winter I just zip the vents closed and put on a Gerbing's heated jacket. I don't even turn it on till it drops below 40°F |

I use a Kilmanjaro and it's great by itself down into the 40's. When it's in the 30's or colder I add a Widder heated vest. 2 years ago there was a huge supply of old Swedish military motorcycle jackets. They've gotten hard to find but are awsome jackets.
