So I purchased the Buell LED brake light and installed it on my bike. Running light brightness comes on when you turn on the key. Pressing the rear brake pedal works perfectly as well with the LEDs going in to bright brake light mode. My concern is that when I gently squeeze the front brake lever the light flickers between running and brake. When it is squeezed full force it stays at brake intensity just fine. Any ideas?

Thanks,

I would check the switch by the lever. Make sure you have good contact. Then I would check the ground.

The brake switches go bad. Open it and put some solder on the contacts ; )

That's a brake light switch issue, not the tail light. Miko is right, they go bad often. You can get a new one for $13 I think? Or try to fix yours.

Alright, thanks. That is what I was thinking. Anyone know what the part number is?
