There is this one from ASB, but truthfully its even worse than the one you pictured. Is that a crossroads unit? I dont understand whats with the chrome/polished pieces for these bikes. They arent Harleys & dont need to be dressed up in 50lbs of chrome doodads.

I think Trojan Horse makes a carbon fiber replacement.

The carbon fiber guard looks really good. So does the machined.

I posted a couple pictures of the machined guard in our sponsor area. If you need more info or other shots let me know.

The matt aluminum one from Trojan Horse looks much better than the polished one. It matches the frame better.

IMO, of course.

Yep. And its true too. Instead of working on wringing more hp out of the bikes..like Aaron is attempting, you have these companies making up chrome covers & heel guards. Instead of developing a kickass ram air induction setup, they give you a chrome oil dipstick cap. Instead of developing a better & more reliable set of roller rockers & rocker arms, they give you tiny ass saddlebags that wont hold a sandwich.

These companies think Buells are nothing more than small Harleys & they are dead wrong on that acct.

Got the guard on, and it does look gooood!

'Course now it's screaming for a cool pulley cap of some sort.

The only one I've seen so far is a Crossroads piece SportTwin has:

Must look into that. Projects, projects. Too cool.

Has anyone thought about or removed the rear upper and lower belt covers/guards on their XB ? That belt looks pretty awesome but is totally covered up by cheap black plastic.

Resurrecting the dead... How in god's name do you get the upper belt guard off? I can't get to the hex bolt that's sort of behind the rear brake lines, where they bolt to the frame. I also can't take the brake lines off, because the bolts go in from the inside?!

Drummer used to sell these. Don't know if they do anymore. This one is actually black with silver vinyl overlay that I cut. I would put it on and take a pic but I need hardware for it. Spacers and bolts an such. Anyone know sizes, lengths ect...?
