I know that H&B make luggage hoops that fit the S, but they don't show one for the SS/STT.

I know I've seen an SS with H&B luggage system. Can it be modified to fit? If so, what must be done?

If not, what rack system works to provide for the use of hard bags?

Thanks.

fatty, try contacting birdy and crusty. they'll get you squared away. both have done the mod you're requesting. all thats needed is a bracket for the front screws..... you'll need to make one.

Here's Da Deal Fatty.

Hepco & Becker make the bracket of the XB9s and XB12s the seat rails are a little different BUT the main bracket will fit along with the rear brackets. All you need to do is make a small front bracket and alls good.

You will lose the rear pegs so no two up with the bags on...THAT'S call a ULY!

Anyway a couple of photos Damn I'm getting as bad as CityXslicker!

Opps to big let me link to the album.

What does this bracket look like?

Do you have a picture of just that?

I do but not on this computer and the other ones offline for the night. I post a photo of tomorrow.

But it look like a long angle bracket made of VERY thick steel ( think .209" thick) I can also get you a DXF of it I think, had a major computer crash and may not have it any more but I'll look.

A related question.

Is there any way to use Givi hard bags with the H&B brackets?

Being cheap, I had planned on using my Givi's on all future bikes (starting with my Bandit 1200). I now use the Suzuki for trips requiring luggage and Buell XB12ss for non-overnight trips.

Thanks
