Oh, and if your hot wearing gear, your wearing the wrong gear. You will actually be cooler in the proper gear because the sun won't be cooking you, and you can use tricks like perforated bags of ice in the back vent to help cool you further. |

Wow is right. I thought I might get some words from Randomchaos, or his gf. I don't understand 03firebolt's flow at all (and I ride an '03 Firebolt). Except maybe the bit about it being a joke for 10 year olds but I don't think he meant that. Anyway, that's why I'm a welder not a comedian. Nice drawing btw. |

03firebolt- get some armored mesh pants that zip to an armored mesh jacket. I promise you will be much cooler. Once I get a good sweat going it stays cool because it wont evaporate like a t-shirt. |

Wait a minute Adrienne, He's confusing a broken thumb with a sinus infection???? Maybe you ought to have his head re-checked??? (glad you're all laughing it off a bit) |

Heh, yea no fractures in the thumb, just some torn muscles. Ankle is sprained. Ive had some nasal congestion the last couple of days, and yesterday afternoon was running a fever for several hours. I just can't seem to catch a break this week lol. |

Just a caution on that congestion. You mentioned sore ribs in the first post. People with rib injuries tend not to fully expand their lungs. The lungs don't fully aspirate so fluid builds up. Extreme cases lead to full pleurisy/pneumonia infections. Remedy is to try and remember to take as full deep breaths as you can and full exhalation. Don't push yourself, just do what you can. (It's a martial arts thing, hopefully that's not the issue.) |

After I had an accident the hospital gave me a breathing gauge to make sure I was using my lungs properly. Try to exhale more. |

Its mostly head congestion. Feels like a cold. Tons of sinus drainage. To top it all off today, I noticed a nasty spider bite on my leg. Back to the doc I went for yet another antibiotic perscription. God damn this is one hell of a week. Bike crash, have a cold, and now a nasty looking spider bite. Sheesh! Least my thumb and ankle are doing better today lol. |

Well, insurance has deemed the Buell a total loss. I managed to get up to Bumpus today and snag some photos of it. Some were a little blurry. Basically, everything was straight, it just had scratches on well... everything on the left side. Hell I even managed to scratch up the airbox cover.

Why even go through insurance? Hose it off, glue the mirror and signal back on, then ride the piss out of it some more. Oh, and crash on the right next time to even it out |

buy it back from the insurance company. Make it street legal. Those marks make you the one in the group with a story to tell. |

Really wanting to get away from the Firebolt and on a Ulysses. I've been wanting one now for a year, and honestly am afraid of the Firebolt now. It tempts me to go too fast thanks to the "Sportbike" look of it. |
