I test dove an XB12XT at one of the local H-D dealerships last week and it was really in a different class from the Harley Sportster I have been riding since last year. Not just the horsepower - the suspension is so much nicer, the engine seems to run smoother and the transmission is less clunky. I feel there is an XT in my future. I haven't seen a lot about the short Ulys here. Have they been well received so far? BTW, I am going to the Buell homecoming in East Troy tomorrow. |

If you go to homecoming there is no way you will be leaving without a new Buell in your near future Also, most of us Uly riders hang out in the Big, Bad, and Dirty section. |

Your going to homecoming? Oh boy, better bring your check book and a color picked out. |

When you make your deal, demand a set of Scorpion Syncs instead of the Stradas. Just changed mine out for the Syncs and I like them a lot more as a street tire and there's no comparison once you're off the tarvy. |

I wouldn't do that with the tires. Only difference I noticed with the syncs and stradas is how fast they wear out. The stradas are dual compound and will last longer. |

Rear Strada gone at 3k (fast wear and cupping on the sides; replaced under warranty with a Sync)- added the front on my dime. Well worth it for me so far, plus I ride my XT off the tarvy. Stradas are a bit scary on gravel. One man's opinion, YMMV. |

Yep, I normally get well over 10k on each sync, one front was 18k. At about 10k on my strada and clearly more life left than the syncs did. |
