http://www.cas4.com/Buell/Exhaust/Force/Buell%20Ex haust%20by%20Force.htm Anyone have this setup on their bike? I recently saw a local bueller riding with it on his 9r and it sounds furious. i really want to get this setup for mine...but i was wondering if anyone else has any experience with this product. |

I have that exact pipe for my new bike (it was included in the sale). The previous owner had put stepped drag pipes on it for the strip, but he said it sounded great (cracked loud!) and adds about 7hp. I'm planning on putting the force pipe back on in about 2 weeks. Ive heard nothing but good things about it and was told by numerous HD guys that it's definetly worth the price. If you havnt put one on by the time I get mine set up, I'll let you know how it rides out. |

Well IF you are going to fine tune the ECM perhaps, and not just using the race ecm etc... many have used that header and had a hard time to get their bikes to run with it, No worries though using just the muffler, as I have been using that for years.. just my .02 cents take it for what ya see its worth.. |

That pipe looks like crap, duff. At least give the warning of rusting on the headers. But it does sound great even riding next to that pipe. |

i have that exhaust on my 07 xb9sx and i love the sound but it has a stutter in 1 around 27000 rpm but the last ride out i did not do it. First night i had the pipe was pulled over by a cop that just wanted to know what kind of bike i had i get alot of comments about it as well |

Nothing against cops, but damn! Pulling you over to find out what kind of bike you ride? I'm glad my hard earned tax dollars are going to work to "protect and be a pain in the ass" to bikers. Fantastic! At least they are working to keep the cop clichès running strong!! Also, my pipe looks a little different at the first knuckle than Duff's. I'll throw on a pic in a day or two to compare. |

Nothing new, I've heard things like this for years from all motorized vehicles including fancy cars and trucks. Don't like it? Don't call attention to yourself.

Must be from the two bottles of NOS energy drink and seven holes in the ECM! |

Jesus! What mods do you have installed to hit 27000 rpm without blowing it up? |

It does have a hole in the low RPM's like everybody does but I haven't tuned it or anything. I've heard it's really tough to tune with these pipes. |

i wonder if it would be worth the money to get it dyno or not and if so where do you take it I have heard bad stories before |

I had it dyno'd at the HD shop, the curve wasn't too crazy or anything. I think it ended up being like 84hp and 72tq. Average of 3 runs. K&N filter, 20k miles, pipe, no other mods. |

No tuning, just free dyno runs. |

I have it on my bike and I had to tune it. Hypercharger kit, stock ECU and Force. it took them a lot of hours to tune it, they had to eliminate the O2 sensor and the auto-learn. gave me 700 rpm more, now my bike cut at 7500. the bike runs good, the only problem is that it doesn't idle when's cold, it needs to warm up, then it's good. mine got 87HP in 4th gear at the dyno, not bad... oh, and mine did not rust like Duff's, I guess it all depends of where and how you keep your bike. mine has Jet Hot silver coating. |

The mounting brackets were welded to the pipe right before the baffle. They were crescent- moon shaped (about 4 inches accross) and fit beneath the bike, where the opposite shape is mounted to the frame. I looked at my bike and there is only one in the rear! Did the otherone dissapear? Or is there only one on the bike stock? How are your force pipes mounted? A pic of the bottom portion mounted, would do me a huge favor!!! |
