I've been looking at going with one. Three stage luggage system. Tall rack for big bag touring, Short rack for the 6 packs and a grab bar for wifey. Structure mounts from the passenger pegs I believe.

Could see if the Ulysses Triple Tail could be fitted on to the lightning. I have no idea if it can.

Look at the Corbin Gunfighter and Lady seat:

It doesn't appear that they have one specifically for the SCG, but I'd bet that they can work something out.

The Ventura Rack should not be used as a back rest. It's made of fairly light tubing.

Is there a way to make the Corbin backrest work with the stock or Buell touring Gel seat for a Long?

You will need extensive modification to your bike to get a Uly triple tail to work. If you are good with custom fabrication, you could rig something up, otherwise it involves a tail section swap, and even that would require some custom fabbing to get the Uly tail on a S.

If you modify the Ventura you could do it.
I would weld in shanks of 1/4 inch rebar.
Ventura says that it is specifically not to be used as a back rest.
They also said they dont make a flat rack for the Buell.... a torch is your friend.
