Well while preparing to install a new 12 in my 9r, i'm glad i decided to pull the fuel pump to clean and inspect it. Anyone know if I can just replace the screen on it? hopefully I can, I don't want nor can afford to buy a new pump....The bike is an 03 with 22k on it, amazing that the screen just disinigrated.

part-# is P0806.K, replacement is described in service manual.
