It's all easy. Do you have a manual, tools, and a stand ?

I think the problem with the t-trees is getting everything back on at the right specs.. torque, balance, height....
.... you might as well get new bearings ....

Q: do you have to drain the gas to take off the t-trees?

Dude, Slow down ! I'm in Jersey and can drop by and assist you. I don't have a manual for you particular bike. If you get someone here to post the torques for the front end we can take care of it properly. I have books for 05 12R and 09 12X and immagine the primary torques are the same. PM me and we'll set up a date and time for me to roll over and take care of this. I have all the tools you need just let me know what you need.
