It's all about dressing properly. Before getting hit by the SUV, I rode everyday here in Jacksonville. Now I have to drive an hour to Palatka for work each day when I wish I was riding. I'd gladly ride tomorrow if I could. C'mon... do it for those of us that can't. |

Now I have to drive an hour to Palatka for work each day when I wish I was riding. You live in Jacksonville and work in Palatka? That's ass backwards. |

I have no other choice as well, but it is all in how you prepare for it. I've been riding without a vehicle for a long time, 58 miles round trip half the week and 110 miles round trip the other. It is darn cold though! Ken |

I rode in this morning. 24 degrees here in Boston. No highways though, I took the long way in. 3 layers of clothes seems to be the trick. |

This morning (Wednesday) it was 38 in my back yard when I left for work. Yes I rode to work and I now have much more respect for all you northern riders. |

20F @ 530am this morning, I have 37 mile commute all highway, so yea I passed. I have not rode in a while, its just so cold in the AM before the sun rises, and something about 70mph for 45mins with no wind protection. I might have to put the bike on the stands for the winter soon |

Moosestang- yeah, it's backwards- but St Johns Powersports is the only m/c dealer within 100 miles I'd work for. Stop in sometime and say hello. |

Do ya'll carry any glove liners or some cold weather gloves that won't break the bank? I have a pair of technic gloves that are pretty warm, but very bulky. Looking for something in between them and my summer gloves. I work in Palatka as well, but I drive from Interlachen. |
