I did the test ride on a 1125cr on Friday just to find out how the rotax motor are and to see if my decision of going with the xb12s I wanted for so long was the good one. Well my friends I took the right decision, I really didn't like the riding position on the CR and the torque was different then what I like so much about my xb. I can certainly understand why someone would like the 1125 motor more but it's not for me, if I ever have the urge of a motor like that well it will be a KTM superduke not a CR but now that the xb is in my driveway it's going to stay there for a while maybe forever. |

the riding position is definitely different, my back and wrists are gonna have to adjust - im gonna ride mine for at least a month before i think about putting the riser bar on there that sits more like a lightning - i am loving this motor though and i havent even gotten in the power band yet, still breaking it in |

I really didn't like the riding position when I first test rode the 1125R which is about the same as the CR. I sat on both. After test riding the 1125R for a full hours I decided it wasn't for me. 7 months later I end up buying one anyway after wrecking my XB. I could not bring myself to buy the exact bike I already had, especially after doing a track day on the XB. So I figured that I would give the 1125R a second chance. Best decision I made. After a week of riding it, I have no issue with riding position an now have 2000 miles after three weeks. Its just a blast (but suks in stop and go traffic) |
