I have an 08 xb12 with breather reroute, K&N and drummer exhaust. Does anyone have good maps to share?

Ok Bart,

I guess for the Texans I'll be more specific. "fuel/timing maps".

BTW, that looks like a nice ride.

Watch out for hurricane.

As bad as these bikes run, (quite lean) ive always wondered why no one had a source for mildly adjusted timing and fuel maps for ecmspy users. Dynojet has a bunch of maps for other bikes available, and you know these are just mild adjustments for specific pipes and filters. I really doubt the "state of tune" on the Buell is so critical that we are scared of engine damage if a map is shared.

I agree. It would be sweet to create a database of maps to down load. Would seem to be a bit of a liability tho- people could write crap maps that maybe a re way to lean and could actually cause engine damage, or even write some kind of virus that could destroy the ecm...

Sorry,I just could not resist.

As far as the 08 bikes there is a bit of an issue. There are three separate ECM's that came in the 08 XB12's. Only one is programmable with ECMspy (the earliest version). My understanding is that the only way you can tell if you have a compatible ECM is if you hook up ECMspy and see if your ECM is listed.

I know this is not exactly what you wanted to know but it may save you some time looking for something that does not exist.

As far as the hurricane it really amazes me. People around Dallas,TX are acting like the storm is going to hit them. The media once again blows shit out of proportion.

The hell with the if, buts and maybes, call Harley Davidson directly and ask.

or I'm sure somebody at Buell could give you a contact name at Harley.

I have already hooked up and confirmed that ecmspy works. I have an 07 build date on the bike. It has an early ecm.

I was hoping to get good maps that need little or no tweaking.

try this trick.

adjust the o2 sensor numbers. Move the midpoint up to .50 and the lean number up to .42

This will make your bike run a lil richer and will help remove the low speed surging.

You'll also get more power.

I continued to run the race map after switching exhausts back to stock and WOW does it run better than ever before! It warms up faster, no decel popping, no surging, and no hesitation, just smooth power delivery everywhere.

no, not yet. I can't believe there's no one. I have the kids this weekend, but not the next two. Maybe we can do it if the weather is good.

Did you find the stock ecm yet?
