I have a Drummer on my XB12S and love it! I am kicking around the idea of going to a D&D for a stronger midrange....What do you guys think? Does the D&D fit good? Chin spoiler fit good on the D&D? Any input is apperciated....Kenny

I've owned both. I ran a original Drummer first. Then I bought a D&D and ran that for a year. Found out on the dyno that the bike lost quite a bit on top. Bought a Drummer SS two years ago and won't look back. Lesson learned..... don't screw with a good thing. The D&D is a pretty good noise maker though.

I bought a D&D and decided that it wasn't worth the hassles of remapping and possible leo issues. I sold it and went with the Buell race can.

Go with the Drummer.

From what I have heard, the Drummer is MUCH better sounding then the D&D. But thats my personal opinion.

The ONLY 3 mufflers I would ever consider are

-special ops
-drummer
-race can

all others just don't do it for me :-)

But its really down to what YOU want!

Good luck and keep it safe out there!

I have a D&D and get tons of compliments on its sound. The bike seems stronger in the mids , but a bit softer on top. I'm getting it tuned today.

Thanks guys for the input. I appreciate your opinions. The Drummer works fine and no fueling issues. Good enough for me.
