Hi, I am new here and I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to remove fine scratches from my xbr plastics. I am interested in making them look as close to new as possible.
Was thinking maybe treating it like a paint job and using a 1500 grit sand paper and some sort of polishing compound, but I wasn't sure if that will work. Has anyone tried this?

You can polish them and and polish them. And yes you can make them look great. You can also have someone spray a automotive clear on them and be done with half the issues.

Bads1,

Do you prep the plastic first before the spray? And is there a brand of auto clear you recommend for this job?

Any other detail would be appreciated, thanks.

Yeah, I thought of some spraying some clear also, would a lacquer be best for this?
